Matt fell in love with swing in 1999 and has been teaching Lindy Hop for about 4 years with Swing Central and SwingShift Melbourne. His inspiration for organising the first Melbourne Lindy Exchange came from attending the Herrang Dance Camp in Sweden in 2000 and 2001, and travelling to Boston, San Francisco and Los Angeles to experience their wonderful social dance scenes.
