Workshops

We are ridiculously excited to annouce that MLX in 2025 will have a new workshop stream! Introducing 'The Warm-Up' workshops with Peter Kertz (France/US) and Elze Visnevskyte (Lithuania).

Tickets for the workshops will go on sale 8pm, 25th of June 2025.

Peter & Elze

Elze and Peter might be just the thing to inspire your dancing, have a blast, and help you make friends heading into MLX. She comes from Lithuania, while he comes from Los Angeles and together, they have a Euro-American style all about fun and connectedness. Their musicality, playfulness, and creativity are part of their light-hearted personalities as dancers, as well as instructors. Their energy is contagious and their class material is stimulating – be prepared for loud laughs, crazy fun, and exciting new moves!

The workshops

Peter & Elze will be running four Lindy Hop workshops at the following times during MLX.

Spots are limited and likely to sell out, so make sure you get your tickets when you can!

  • Thu 20/11: 3.30-5pm (Adv)

  • Fri 21/11: 10-11.30am (Int+)

  • Fri 21/11: 1-2.30pm (Adv)

  • Fri 21/11: 3.30-5pm (Adv)

Cost

$40 per workshop (plus fees).

You can book just one or up to four! Choose whatever dosage feels right for your body.

Maltese Community Council of Victoria, Parkville.

Content

Each workshop will be different, and will cover a variety of topics and skills that help you feel warmed up and inspired for the MLX socials.


Class Level

There will be no auditions or level checks, please email us for information if you're not sure if advanced is for you.
